What we did today:
January 10th (Flex):
1) Choose a minimum of 3 character traits and actions to describe a character (Goldilocks).
- We will continue our character sketch of Goldilocks and the Three Bears. Complete the T-chart that shows the actions and what character traits those actions reveal.

January 8th (Tutorial):
Today we silent read for 15 minutes. We then discussed the vocabulary used to discuss character to be able to start a character sketch. As we were having difficulty talking about examples we all knew, I showed a video of the fairy tale "Goldilocks and the Three Bears." We then started to analyze the character of Goldilocks from that movie.
Learning Goals:
1) Review the notes about character. Find 3 character traits for Goldilocks.

January 6th, 2020: Happy New Year!
Today we shared what we did over winter break. We brainstormed and discussed New Year's resolutions and started a paragraph together about them. We then wrote our own goal for 2020.

1) Watch an English movie or television show over winter break!
Today we shared what we did over winter break. We brainstormed and discussed New Year's resolutions and started a paragraph together about them. We then wrote our own goal for 2020.
Learning goals:
- We will share positive moments of our winter break.
- We will discuss resolutions and assess examples of good resolutions.
- We will write a short paragraph about resolutions and create one of our own.
